VIVO Energy recrute 01 Retail Projects Engineer
Job Purpose
Vivo Energy partners with an external Global Project Management company (PMC) on the execution of the end-to-end construction in Retail sites.
The Retail Projects Engineer supports the Retail Projects Manager who is the single point of accountability within Vivo Energy for the overall Retail capex program delivery in the Market. More specifically, the role is to:
- Support the Retail Projects Manager for pro-actively driving the performance of the capex program delivery through the Project Management Company (PMC) to agreed outcomes, meeting HSSE and Retail business objectives.
- Support Retail Projects Manager in all site engineering and construction projects.
- Implement the construction program in the Market through PMC.
- Report to the Retail Projects Manager on the continuous improvement in the construction delivery in terms of costs, quality and cycle time in alignment with the Global PMC/Vivo teams.
- Develop and manage in guidance of the Retail Projects Manager, the key stakeholder relationships with other
- Network functions, Sales & Ops and other external third parties such as Local FMC for COCO sites and pro-actively communicate with them in order to deliver the capex program through the PMC in an integrated way.
- To Deliver Country Workplan according to Vivo Guidelines & Strategies
- To ensure that Local government HSSE polices & safe practices.

Principal Accountabilities
- Lead and drive HSSE mindset within the PMC organization and through them to contractors. Ensure compliance with the Vivo HSSE policies by PMC and through them, by contractors.
- Support Retail Projects Manager to drive and manage the strategic relationship with PMC at Market level.
- Support Retail Projects Manager to provide leadership to PMC team in the Market to set a clear direction and priorities on construction program.
- Support the Retail Projects Manager to provide a cohesive and integrated annual Construction program to PMC including high-level scope, timeline.
- Provide the Scope of Work of each individual project and program under his/her direct responsibility.
- Attend the monthly Performance Improvement meeting with PMC team to review the project/program delivery including spent, milestones and HSSE and agree action plans to improve project/program delivery performance.
- Escalate unresolved and systemic issues to Vivo PMC Coordinators through Engineering team leader.
- Ensure that any alterations and improvements done by the dealers are in compliance with Vivo Energy standards
- Coordinate with C&P the strategy to optimize purchase of materials and services.
- Elaborate and implement country work-plan, with support from Retail & Network Manager.
- Ensures smooth operations of Retail sites in terms of safety & operational requirements in such a way that risk to the business are minimized.
- Ensure that contractors are pre-qualified and appraised annually
- Budget elaboration and cost management
- Manage own development by identifying competence gaps
- Identification and sharing of maintenance best practices and feedback
- Abide by HSSE & SGBP rules

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Qualification
- BSc degree in civil/mechanical/ electromechanical Engineering.
- Good knowledge on use of PC application program
Experience
- 2-4 years’ experience in managing development / of selling facilities.
- Working knowledge in retail engineering and plant engineering,
- Knowledge on environmental guideline for selling facilities
- Knowledge level on Vivo Energy HSSE policy & various requirement in relation to developing / activities
- Professional Retail experience and a good overall understanding of the Retail business will be an advantage.
