Job Purpose
- To Deliver Country Workplan according to Vivo Guidelines & Strategies
- To manage maintenance of Retail sites per Group/ Vivo maintenance management guidelines/ strategies
- To deliver maintenance of retail per agreed SLA /KPIs
- To ensure that repair / maintenance of retail sites is done in line with Group/ Local government HSSE polices & safe practices.

- Annual Opex budget: to be communicated on interviews stage
- Annual Maintenance capex: to be communicated on interviews stage

Principal Accountabilities
- Elaborate and implement country work-plan, with support from Retail Network Manager.
- Assist Retail Network Manager in the implementation of Network development actions (NTI, NTS, KDR).
- Ensures smooth operations of Retail sites in terms of safety & operational requirements in such a way that risk to the business is minimized.
- Put in place service contracts for all maintenance categories
- Supervise maintenance works to ensure they are carried out within agreed quality and time
- Manages maintenance contracts in effective way (KPIs monitoring & reporting)
- Ensure maintenance SLA with Retail Operations are met at 100%
- Keep records of maintenance asset per group template (Equipment register template), and shall update records from time to time
- Ensure that contractors are pre-qualified and appraised annually
- Budget elaboration and cost management
- Manage own development by identifying competence gaps
- Identification and sharing of maintenance best practices
- Abide by HSSE & SGBP rules
Key Challenges
- Ensure HSSE compliance in situations whereby maintenance contractors are working at sites located far away from the base, with wide spread across the country.
- Ensure operational integrity of facilities (buildings) versus limited spend
- Deliver maintenance service level/ KPIs
- Requirements
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Qualification
- BSc degree in civil/mechanical, electromechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Good knowledge on use of PC application program
Experience
- 5 years’ experience in managing development /maintenance of selling facilities.
- Working knowledge in retail engineering and plant engineering,
- Knowledge on environmental guideline for selling facilities
- Knowledge level on Shell HSSE policy & various requirement in relation to developing /maintenance activities
Competencies
- Engineering degree.
- Knowledge of Vivo Energy Governance standards and policies
- Knowledge of Retail Outlet Design & Construction Standards
- Understands and applies SHELL retailing principles and processes.
- Understands and applies SHELL retail HSSE standards.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrable experience in construction, maintenance of equipment and retail outlets.
- Skill to manage other.
